The garden below is an ongoing design and maintenance contract. We have installed a couple of water features including a pond, a wildlife pond, a bird bath and a wishing well. As well as constructing the pond we’ve also installed a viewing area. Nestling under a tree above the pond it allows the customers a great view of the fish and a place to sit and relax whilst enjoying the view and the last bit of sun the garden has to offer.

 

We have also created a hibernaculum next to the wildlife pond to encourage wildlife and an area that is to be left natural containing wild meadow flowers and a purpose built ‘Hog Hotel’.

 

We have recently heard from our clients that a hedgehog has taken residence in their garden and that the wildlife pond is alive with tadpoles and baby frogs whilst the hibernaculum is supplying everything they might need as well as a home for the insects.

 

We will keep you posted on how the garden develops and any wildlife that goes with it.

 

The pond below is an ongoing project that was created using sleepers and a rubber liner. It measures 10′ x 6′ x 3′ approx. It has recently been stocked with new water plants and has a birdbath located just behind the waterfall.

 

There is also a wildlife pond using a preformed pond liner and is surrounded by rocks, slate and wild flowers.

 

We have also installed an eating area covered by a pergola and have recently erected a new 8′ x 6′ shed.
